The Swiss Society for Social Psychiatry (SSPS-SGSP) is greatly honored to invite you to attend and participate in the European Congress for Social Psychiatry co-sponsored by the World Association for Social Psychiatry (WASP) which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from July 4th to July 6th 2012.

The main theme of the congress “Social psychiatry at the age of Neurosciences” will encourage the integration between clinical and research perspectives at various levels of understanding and action: from prevention, to treatment.

European renowned experts in the field will give keynote lectures as well as symposia and workshops. The congress will host the following tracks:

1. Innovation in social psychiatry

2. Human rights, coercion and violence in European societies

3. Suicide prevention

4. E-mental-health, developments and perspective from the Internet

La kryptonite nella borsa è un film del 2011 diretto da Ivan Cotroneo, al suo esordio alla regia ed è tratto dall’omonimo romanzo scritto da Cotroneo nel 2007.

Cotroneo come sceneggiatore è un grande (Paz!, Dillo con parole mie, Io sono l’amore, Mine Vaganti). Come scrittore ancora non ho avuto modo di appurare. Ed eccolo regista. Non so bene come giudicare il suo film d’esordio. Ha caratteristiche innovative per una storia che ha di già sentito. Ma la trama non conta, anche se ci sono soluzioni alla storia, per esempio la pratica psiconalitica o il personaggio di Gennaro amico immaginario che spezzano con le tradizioni della storia di corna e di crescita, rispettivamente per la storia della madre e del piccolo Peppino, almeno in contesto italiano. Poi c’è l’immersione storica della vicenda, che testimonia, fatto raro, al contrario di quel che si possa pensare, che anche a Napoli, il ‘68 c’è stato. Ed ecco quindi la musica, il ballo, l’interesse per culture diverse, le orge, il rispetto per il corpo, il femminismo, in un luogo che ha sempre accolto e ha sempre acceso focolai sul genere e sulla libertà della persona. Abbiamo diverse storie in questo film. Quella isolata del protagonista, quella della madre, quella del padre, degli zii libertini, dei nonni, dell’amica zitella della madre, e la storia del superman napoletano. Ecco, queste storie sono approfondite e non rischiano di figurare macchiettisticamente, si seguono e si conseguono. Ma a me è parso che Cotroneo non abbia dato loro ritmo di intersecazione. Sono blocchi che si consumano nel loro svolgersi, come capitoli di un libro. Ed ecco, avrei preferito, se Cotroneo proprio non voleva far scivolare gli eventi l’uno nell’altro, che almeno li rompesse con le cesoie dei capitoli, alla Anderson, per intenderci. Sequenze mozzate e musiche rotte nel loro scorrere non permettono nemmeno allo spettatore di godersi il bello del film. Perché volendo è un bel film. Poteva esser fatto meglio, ma è divertente, riflessivo, non convenzionale.
